I, We, Us (2016)

Commissioned and performed by Spindrift Dance Collective

“It’s like everyone tells a story about themselves inside their own head. Always. All the time. That story makes you what you are. We build ourselves out of that story.”
Patrick Rothfuss

With a company of ever evolving dancers Spindrift includes individuals spanning dancers in training, recent graduates and professionals. This piece is a marker point in time; a physical, beautiful and funny piece that looks at who we are, and who we are as this group of individuals, now, in this moment…with one over arching passion for dance. A shared passion to express physically what can’t be said with words.
